With a 700mm² contact area, the rider’s foot becomes one with the pedal to crank tons of power through the drivetrain. Ceramic bearings are featured in this version of the KEO Blade, all meticulously calibrated, down to the micro-meter. Ceramic bearings are less susceptible to dust and corrosion, giving them a lifespan about four to six times longer than steel bearings. Note: The knob at the bottom of the pedal is a lock to keep the foot in place on the track. It is NOT a tension adjustment knob. Be sure to disengage the knob before releasing the cleat to avoid damage to the pedal.
